01What this covers
This policy covers the Bits And Mettle website at bitsandmettle.com, run by Bits And Mettle LLC ("we", "us"). Each of our products runs on its own site with its own privacy policy:

02What we collect
This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, sign-up forms, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not store anything in your browser.
The only personal information we receive through this site is what you choose to send us, for example when you email us. That is your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.
03Server logs
Our Netlify may automatically record technical details when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
04How we use it
- To reply to your message and keep a record of the conversation.
- To keep the site running and secure.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
05How long we keep it
We keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation, and no longer than 24 months after it ends, unless the law requires otherwise. Hosting logs are kept according to our Netlify's standard retention.
06Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law. Email wink@bitsandmettle.com and we will respond within 30 days.
07Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
08Links to other sites
This site links to our product sites and occasionally to others. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
